MS Network Engineering candidate, Southern Methodist University (May 2027)
Focus: data center networking and cloud architecture
Behind every app, every stream and every AI model is a network that has to work, every second. That’s the layer I build.
Born in Spain, I moved to Norway to start my career and spent years running mission-critical IP networks, where faults were visible instantly and every packet had to arrive on time. Along the way, I co-founded several ventures and learned to think like an owner, weighing cost, risk and reliability together.
Now I’m in the US to take the next step: data center networking and cloud architecture, the infrastructure behind the world’s largest platforms and the AI systems running on them. I want to work where the scale is greatest and the stakes are highest.

Network academy
An interactive 3D learning platform for network protocols. It teaches by running them: you change the configuration and watch traffic move, queue, pause and drop in front of you, then it sets you a problem and asks you to fix it.

Atlas Digital Ventures
An AI implementation agency for small businesses, which I founded alongside a full-time engineering role. I built their online presence, automated sales funnels, custom CRM (customer relationship management) systems and AI-driven workflows that replaced manual daily tasks such as email follow-ups.

A remote audio studio for artists, podcasters and game studios, which I founded and ran from 2017 to 2021. I owned operations end to end, turning ambiguous client requests into precise specs and building repeatable workflows that kept quality consistent across every delivery format.

- Is it plugged in? Check again.
- Reboot it.
- Unplug it. Plug it back in. Firmly this time.
- Check DNS.

- Read the logs. Pretend to understand the logs.
- Open a ticket with the vendor. Wait 3–5 business years.
- Blame the firewall team.
- Find out who changed the config.

Before the networks, there was sound.
Through my late teens and early twenties, I mixed and mastered hundreds of albums and produced my own music under two names: Toki Beats for hip-hop, and Liam Wheeler for electronic music.
A few of those tracks still live in the far corners of the internet. This is the last one I made start to finish, written, mixed and mastered by me.
